One of Melbourne's most distinctive landmarks, the newly refurbished State Library is located at the northern end of the central business district.

The Library's cafe, Mr Tulk, serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks daily. However, food and drink is not allowed in any other part of the Library. The exception is bottled water, which is permissible in certain spaces.

Be sure to check the Library's opening hours before visiting. Certain spaces have restricted opening hours and some services may not available in the evening or on the weekend.
