Library Technician, Heritage Collections
VPSG 2.1
Fulltime, Fixed Term – 12 months
- Salary Circa $38,000 + Super
The State Library of Victoria is the state's premier reference and research library, the hub of a statewide information and communications network, and a gateway to the world's information.
The Access and Information Division is seeking a library technician to undertake a variety of collection organisation tasks, including; cataloguing, and to provide information and reference support to users of the Heritage Collections.
The successful candidate will have completed a diploma in Library or Information Science, or equivalent, conferring eligibility for technician membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). This position also requires a high level of information technology skills in the use of information resources and services.
