Bernard Muir on medieval manuscripts

In this lecture, Professor Bernard Muir plays a film documenting the process of making a 'medieval' manuscript. He discusses the challenges involved in in the process. This lecture was held on 22 May 2008 at the State Library of Victoria, in association with the exhibition The medieval imagination. Together with a team of experts, Bernard created two multimedia projects that help us to better understand medieval scriptoriums and artisans.

Bernard works in the English department (medieval studies) at the University of Melbourne. The 40-minute film of this event is available on DVD from Evellum.
