Medieval calligraphy workshop

Australian Curriculum years/ AusVELS levels: 7-10
Learning Areas/Domains: English, history
Duration: 90 minutes
Cost: $9.90 per student (inc GST)

Students will visit the magnificent Mirror of the world exhibition to see the intricate detail of medieval illuminated manuscripts. They will then be introduced to the art of calligraphy and make their own illuminated manuscript page.

Students can take all materials used in the workshop back to school, including calligraphy markers.
