Winnie-the-Pooh Reading Relay
Meet Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and friends at an open-air reading of AA Milne’s much-loved Winnie-The-Pooh by a team of celebrity guest readers – including Commonwealth Writers’ Prize-winning authors, politicians and sports people. Hosted by author and actor William McInnes, on the forecourt of the State Library.

Regional Author Tours
Winners of the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize 2006 regional prizes, along with past Australian winners Adib Khan and Larissa Behrendt, take to the road for a series of free public readings at Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong and Warrnambool libraries. Bookings are essential.

Upfront Readings
Bring your lunch, take a seat on the State Library lawn and be entertained by author and actor William McInnes, and Commonwealth Writers’ Prize-winning authors from around the globe.
