Commonwealth Writers' Prize Sponsors

The Commonwealth Writers' Prize is sponsored by the Commonwealth Foundation. The Foundation is an international organisation which works to promote good governance and democracy, sustainable development, and culture and diversity in Commonwealth countries.

This 20th year of the Prize coincides with the 40th anniversary of the Commonwealth Foundation, and confirms the Foundation's ongoing commitment to nurturing and promoting culture in this diverse and vibrant community.

The event program is part of Festival Melbourne2006, the cultural festival of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
