The RE Ross Trust Playwrights' Script Development Awards
The RE Ross Trust Playwrights' Script Development Awards foster Victoria's theatre industry by helping Victorian writers develop their scripts. These annual awards are an initiative of the RE Ross Trust and are administered by the State Library of Victoria.
Script development is the advancement of a play as a work-in-progress through workshopping or interaction between the playwright and a director, dramaturg, script editor and/or actor. The focus is on text enhancement. The workshopping should be undertaken by or in association with a Victorian theatre group, director or dramaturg.
2009 Awards
Winners of the RE Ross Trust Playwrights' Script Development Awards were announced at an awards presentation at the Library on 19 June 2009.
