Animalia: From Book to Screen

Graeme Base's 1986 book Animalia has been phenomenally successful. But how do you adapt a beautifully illustrated alphabet book into a children's TV series for an international audience?

Graeme Base and producer Ewan Burnett discuss the challenge of taking Animalia from book to screen.

This forum was held at the State Library of Victoria on 2 September 2008.
