MySpace for Kids? The Power of Community

SuperClubsPLUS Australia is a new social network for young children. It has all the functionality and compulsion of MySpace and Facebook but it is fundamentally about keeping children safe online.

Martyn Wild explains SuperClubsPLUS Australia’s approach to learning and to cybersafety.

Martyn Wild is a Director of Intuitive Media Australia, the company behind SuperClubs PLUS. He is an internationally recognised educator and researcher, with more than 20 years of experience. He has taught at schools and universities, and been an advisor to the UK Government. He was Founding Director of Best English, an elearning business funded by Melbourne's Adult Multicultural Education Service, and a consultant with Nine Lanterns, a leading elearning company. He has held senior academic posts, researching and teaching in elearning, at Exeter University (UK), Edith Cowan University (WA, Australia) and La Trobe University (Vic, Australia), where he is currently Honorary Professor (eLearning).
