Hoi Polloi
 |
This humorous memoir depicts life through the eyes of a curious child growing up in his family’s hotel in New Zealand and within the horse-racing scene. Sherbourne finds original and entertaining things to say about growing up, and about childhood innocence and the loss of it. The story continues in the sequel Muck.
