Redmond Barry Fellowship
The Redmond Barry Fellowship is jointly sponsored by the University of Melbourne and the State Library of Victoria. It is named in honour of Sir Redmond Barry (1813-80), a founder of both these institutions.
The Fellowship, worth up to $20,000 and including a residency of three to six months, is awarded to scholars and writers to facilitate research and the production of works of literature that utilise the superb collections of the Library and the University of Melbourne. Projects may be in any discipline or area in which the Library and the University have strong collections. The Fellowship is open to Australian and overseas scholars and writers.
More information about the Redmond Barry Fellowship, its guidelines and the application form can be found on the University of Melbourne website.
