For Schools

A range of engaging educational programs are available for school students in Years 3-12. These programs are developed by the Library's Education Programs Unit and the Centre for Youth Literature.

Reading

Focusing on the critical connection between literacy and reading for pleasure, this events-based program aims to encourage reading among young people.

Exhibition-focused Programs

These activities, tours and workshops are linked to the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) and VCE curriculum and allow students to engage with the Library's impressive collections.

Library & Research Skills

Orientation tours for all year levels and research skills intensives for senior students are available for school groups. All programs are linked to the VELS and VCE curriculum.
