Melbourne Public Library. Proposed Additions. South Wing [Plans of Verdon Gallery and Barry Hall]

Plans for the south wing along Little Lonsdale Street including the south west pavilion and the Barry Hall. The ground floor plan, Verdon Gallery, shows entrances into the existing Sculpture Gallery (now the Murdoch Gallery) and the Great Hall, part of the 1866/67 Intercolonial Exhibition buildings. The first floor plan shows columns for the mezzanine floor of the Barry Hall and a north entry into the existing Public Library (i.e. the Queen's Hall).
