About National Simultaneous Storytime

National Simultaneous Storytime, now in its 25th year, is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association to promote the value of reading and literacy. Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is selected to be read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, family day cares, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around Australia and New Zealand.
