If you are looking to mark a momentous event in your life or to remember a loved one, consider doing so with a bronze plaque on one of the heritage desks in the magnificent La Trobe Reading Room.

Since 1913, the Library's domed reading room has been the symbolic heart of State Library Victoria. Today, it retains its original reading desks, tables and chairs crafted from fine Queensland silky oak timber, radiating out from the central dais.

Your donation to the Library can ensure your place in this iconic space: with a bronze plaque to pay enduring tribute to someone you love, to commemorate a milestone or to honour a company founder or colleague.

You can have a custom message of up to 40 words inscribed on the plaque.
