Author Corinne Fenton will read her shortlisted Children’s Book of the Year, Lionel and Me, a touching tale that celebrates inclusion and the power of friendship.
Afterwards, get involved in a hands-on workshop where your kids will have the chance to jump in the backyard with Lionel and do some crafty activities.

About Corinne Fenton
Corinne Fenton is an award-winning Australian author, best known for her heart-warming picture books. In Corinne’s other life she was the Assistant Regional Advisor (Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia) for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators for eight years, and has been a judge for the Primary School section of the Dorothea MacKellar Poetry Awards.
She is an Ambassador for Australia Reads.
