As part of NAIDOC Week celebrations, State Library Victoria and the Victorian Indigenous Research Centre are proud to offer guided beruk exhibition tours with Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Elder Uncle Bill Nicholson Jnr.
Explore and connect with an exhibition celebrating the life and legacy of Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung artist, activist, and last Ngurungaeta William Barak. Honouring his cultural legacy, the beruk exhibition explores objects, paintings, and portraits of William Barak and other residents of the Coranderrk Aboriginal Reserve created during the post-colonial era of the mission station.
