Angela Cavalieri

Angela Cavalieri's fellowship project was a series of large scale lino-cut prints entitled Canzone: music as storytelling.

As a creative fellow, Angela created these pieces based on the Library's music collections. She researched the operas and madrigals of Monteverdi and his contemporaries, and re-created this material into a series of new artworks.
