Elevation of La Trobe Street facade of the north wing shows slate roof with two skylights and two doors at either end. Behind the wing, from left to right, the roofs of the Great Hall, the Rotunda and the existing Library are outlined in ink. The elevation of the south or Little Lonsdale facade shows nine skylights in the roof and the basement in bluestone running the full length of the wing, on the Library moat and two doors at east and west ends with no visible entry stairs.
